Since 2021, Axsens bte has been part of the EAQG working group set up by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) to lead the revision of standard 9100.

Supplier audits and self-assessment :
We carry out supplier audits and help manufacturers carry out "self-assessments" to benchmark themselves against aerospace industry practices and identify areas for improvement. The aim is to strengthen your processes, meet customer expectations, improve your processes and, above all, be proactive and stand out from the crowd.
We support aeronautical players in assessing the industrial maturity of their suppliers or internally using different methods:
- Implementation of IPCA+ (Industrial Process Control Assessment +): An industrial maturity assessment used by all AIRBUS divisions & subsidiaries (Airbus, Airbus Helicopters, Airbus Defence & Space, Airbus Aerostrucutures, Airbus Atlantic and ATR) and several suppliers.
- Detailed coaching using IAQG's AIMM (Aerospace Improvement Maturity Model): Self-assessment created by IAQG to exceed EN 9100 expectations.
APQP :
When it comes to industrial maturity, APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) has to be mentioned. This cross-functional approach applies the " PDCA " principle, as do all international standards, to ensure on-time delivery to customers while maintaining product quality.
- Origins in the automotive industry...Initiated by General Motors, Chrysler and Ford within the AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) to secure product launch dates and maturity
- AIAG published the first combined APQP manual for the automotive industry in June 1994 - then governed by AIAG-VDA, it is a must-have in IATF 16949
- APQP was adapted to the specificities of aerospace (IAQG International Aerospace Quality Group - 9145) in November 2016.
This approach is now applicable to all sectors: our experts have deployed it in the automotive, aerospace and healthcare sectors.
The methodology integrates a project schedule that includes the use, deployment and monitoring of methods, tools and requirements that are at the heart of industrial maturity.
AERO EXCELLENCE :
A unique international benchmark for Operational Excellence recognized by the entire Aerospace & Defense community.
Launched by GIFAS, Aero Excellence covers all the operational activities involved in industrialization (including APQP), and enables you to carry out your own diagnosis and drive your roadmap towards excellence, in order to meet future challenges and improve the competitiveness of the industry.
