Applied research and innovation projects to support the transformation towards the Factory of the Future

ResPro 2.0 for the Factory of the Future is a collaborative innovation project.

It aims to develop innovative solutions for performance management that is closely aligned with products and to implement structured and harmonized approaches to problem solving for SMEs/mid-cap companies in the aeronautics and space industries in the Midi-Pyrénées region.

It is achieved through remote, mobile, connected, and agile interfaces.

This project aims to develop a cognitive feedback system for the capitalization and dynamic reuse of problem-solving knowledge through the implementation and support of a tool-based problem-solving approach.

Knowledge-based, Agile, and Collaborative Processes

We have implemented several applied research projects in collaboration with the administration (ANR: National Research Agency, regional clusters) and competitiveness clusters.

The goal is to work together to create new methodologies that will enable us to anticipate the needs and services of tomorrow, and thus meet the challenges of the industry of the future.

Today, three doctoral thesis projects (CIFRE) and two collaborative research projects (ANR-OPERA) are part of our initiatives.

ProWhy software

The result of a collaboration between UTOP and Axsens bte, ProWhy is a tool designed to support problem solving in companies.

It was designed to structure, store, and share information and encourage feedback by providing integrated, visual, and collaborative support for the most common problem-solving approaches (PDCA, 8D, 9S).

Q

METHODS Not all problems encountered should be addressed at the same level. It is therefore necessary to differentiate between methods while maintaining a common database.

COLLABORATION : Support for facilitating working groups in workshops and collaborative tool for sharing information

TOOLS: The main problem-solving tools have been modeled and pre-recorded, incorporating methodological guides while maintaining an intuitive, visual, and easy-to-use approach.

MANAGEMENT: Enables related actions (visual PDCA model, report editing, and workflow)

CAPITALIZATION Capitalizing on experience to achieve "first-time right" reliability requires managing a structured database that facilitates analysis.
