Applied research and innovation projects to support the transformation to the Factory of the Future
ResPro 2.0 for the Factory of the Future is a collaborative innovation project.
Its aim is to develop innovative solutions for performance management as close to the product as possible, and to set up structured, harmonized problem-solving approaches for SMEs in the aerospace sector in the Midi-Pyrénées region.
It is achieved through remote, mobile, connected and agile interfaces.
This project aims to develop a cognitive feedback system for the dynamic capitalization and reuse of problem-solving knowledge through the implementation and support of a tool-based problem-solving approach.
Knowledge-based, Agile and Collaborative processes
We have implemented a number of applied research projects in collaboration with the French government (ANR: agence nationale de la recherche, regional clusters), and competitiveness clusters.
The aim is to work together to create new methodologies to anticipate tomorrow's needs and services, and thus meet the challenges of the industry of the future.
Today, our initiatives include 3 doctoral thesis projects (CIFRE) and 2 collaborative research projects (ANR-OPERA).

ProWhy software
The result of collaboration between UTTOP and Axsens bte, ProWhy is a support tool for corporate problem-solving.
It has been designed to structure, store and share information, and encourage feedback, by supporting the most common problem-solving approaches (PDCA, 8D, 9S) in an integrated, visual and collaborative way.

METHODS Not all the problems encountered need to be dealt with at the same level. It is therefore necessary to differentiate methods while maintaining a common database.
COLLABORATION : Support for workshop work groups and collaborative information-sharing tools
TOOLS : The main problem-solving tools have been modeled and pre-registered, integrating methodological guides with an intuitive, visual and easy-to-use approach.
MANAGEMENT : Enables associated actions (visual PDCA model, reporting and workflow)
CAPITALIZATION Capitalizing on experience to improve "right first time" reliability requires the management of a structured database that facilitates analysis.
