As ISO 14001 emphasizes:

"Achieving a balance between the environment, society and the economy is essential for development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.

At Axsens bte, we are convinced that a sustainable company is one that strikes the right balance between economic performance, respect for the environment and social commitment. With this in mind, for several years now we have been building a voluntary, progressive and ambitious approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental certification.

Our 2-step roadmap

ISO 14001 certification

This is the first structural step in laying the foundations of our environmental management system. Obtained after a rigorous phase of analysis, compliance and training, this certification testifies to our determination to sustainably reduce our environmental impact.

Upcoming CSR certification

In addition to our environmental requirements, we have launched a more global initiative aimed at obtaining a CSR label, which is an integral part of our corporate strategic plan. This label will confirm our commitment to issues as varied as quality of life in the workplace, responsible governance, ethics, sustainable purchasing and solidarity.

Our concrete actions for a positive impact

Since 2022, numerous internal initiatives have been launched to give substance to our commitments, involve our teams and anchor our values in our corporate culture over the long term.

  • Introduction of waste sorting with specific garbage cans and appointment of 6 awareness-raising referents

  • Transition to 100% reconditioned IT equipment

  • No more plastic bottles: water fountain and distribution of water bottles to employees

  • Switch to an electric service vehicle, resale of the two combustion vehicles

  • Joining the Coq Vert community to strengthen our foothold in the ecological transition ecosystem

  • Organization of educational workshops: 2tonnes Workshop, Climate and Mobility Frescoes, CSR Brunch

  • Internal working groups to keep the approach alive and encourage collective intelligence

  • Active monitoring via newsletters and specialized discussion groups

At the end of 2022, Axsens bte initiated its very first carbon audit, marking a key step in its environmental transition strategy. To guarantee the rigor and quality of this process, the company called on the expertise of the consulting firm Goodwill Management, recognized for its know-how in sustainable development and responsible performance.

Quality of life at work, health and safety at the heart of our approach

Because performance also depends on the well-being of our employees, we have made QWL (Quality of Life and Working Conditions) a major focus of our CSR policy. In concrete terms, this means :

  • A QVCT charter shared by all, included in the welcome booklet
  • Regular prevention initiatives: MSD, stress, RPS, business travel
  • An updated DUER integrating physical and psychosocial risks
  • Protective equipment provided for all industrial visits
  • Sports and solidarity activities: sports challenges, toy collection, themed team building
  • An emergency management register including potential environmental impacts

Training, involving and developing our employees

Our teams are at the heart of our transformation. To support them, we invest in ongoing training and innovative tools:

  • ISO 14001 training, IRCA LQA certification

  • Mosaique Hydrogène: raising awareness of the energy transition

  • Partnership with UL6S and 7 Shapes for immersive Lean Six Sigma content

  • Active participation in the revision of ISO 9001, 9000, 19011 and IA 9100 standards

  • Co-development of a problem-solving software package: ProWhy (with UTTOP)

Clear objectives, a shared ambition

We don't intend to stop there. Our next objectives are to :

  • Continuing to reduce our carbon footprint
  • Obtain a recognized and demanding CSR label
  • Develop innovative services in line with our environmental approach
  • Extend our QVCT policy to all our sites and missions
