- MERCK BioDevelopment, a major global player in the field of research-based pharmaceuticals and chemicals, is growing fast,
- MERCK BioDevelopment doesn't have a warehouse with the capacity to store all the products it needs for its growth, so MERCK wants to outsource part of its storage to a local player.
Objectives :
- Drawing up specifications to define the scope of the outsourcing project
- Managing the call for tenders from logistics service providers
- Oversee outsourcing deployment
Mission :
Logistics outsourcing
- Drawing up specifications: interviewing key players, taking into account GMP best practices, workshop to match needs and quality requirements.
- Invitation to tender for logistics service providers: research and identification of potential players in compliance with the quality requirements defined in the specifications. Analysis of bids, negotiation, auditing of solutions, shortlisting and contractualization.
- Supervision of solution deployment with the chosen service provider and the customer's teams. Set up KPIs to monitor activity (quality, costs).
