• MERCK BioDevelopment, a major global player in the field of research-based pharmaceuticals and chemicals, is experiencing rapid growth.
• MERCK BioDevelopment does not have a warehouse with the capacity to store all the products necessary for its growth, so MERCK wishes to outsource part of its storage to a local provider.
Objectives :
- Drafting of specifications to define the scope of outsourcing
- Management of the call for tenders among logistics providers
- Oversee the deployment of outsourcing
Mission :
Logistics outsourcing
- Drafting of specifications: interviewing key players, taking into account GMP best practices, workshop on matching needs and quality requirements.
- Call for tenders for logistics providers: research and identification of potential candidates in accordance with the quality requirements defined in the specifications. Analysis of bids, negotiation, audit of solutions, shortlisting, and contracting.
- Supervision of the solution deployment with the selected service provider and the client's teams. Implementation of KPIs to monitor activity (quality, costs).
