- Significantly reduce work-in-progress,
- Control product quality and reduce delivery times
- Reorganize industrial layout to promote fluidity (flow, layout, workstations and ergonomics/safety)
Improve customer quotations with a reliable approach to range times
Context

- Strong pressure on costs, quality and deadlines from prime contractors (aircraft manufacturers).
- New activity within the Daher group (resulting from the acquisition of companies)
- Labor-intensive activity
- A fast-growing division
Mission
Deployment of the Lean Manufacturing approach at all sites:
- Diagnosis lean (maturity matrix)
- Creation of the Lean repository (charter, organizational structure and documents)
- Setting up the project team and training in methodology and tools Lean
- Launch of Lean projects dealing with layout and flow, equipment availability, organization, re-industrialization, communication, management visual and participative:
- Management of the first pilot projects
- Coaching of subsequent projects in Production - Leading the Continuous Improvement process
Time measurement :
- Timing training
- Time measurement campaign across all product families at 2 French sites (time recording, video analysis)
- Realigning operating ranges
