Background :
To increase its competitiveness, FEDERAL MOGUL decided to group its activities together on a single site and implement a Workshop Performance Improvement project.
The 5 phases of plant development :
1-Growth of existing activities (+50% sales over 2 years)
2-Integration of the PONTOISE plant
3-Development of a new technology (SMC - new powder - SEB products)
4-Diversification of the tooling business
5-Pilot its relocation strategy in low-cost countries (LCC)
Objectives :
- Implementation/appropriation of the tools/methods required to ensure the success of the Continuous Improvement approach by staff, in a spirit of sustainability.
- Develop team spirit within the company to face future challenges.
- Make proposals and innovate to improve industrial processes.
- To transfer the PONTOISE activity within the timeframe and viability constraints.
