Samson - Axsens bte

Background :

SAMSON, located in Vaulx en Velin, manufactures high value-added valves, employs 190 people on the site and has two main activities: machining and assembly
The scope of the audit is the assembly workshop, currently on two separate levels, with small parts on the upper floor and valves on the ground floor,
Planning is done on a weekly basis, with no order scheduling, so the workshop's workload is unknown and it is not possible to adapt resources to the workload. Sales should be able to interact with order scheduling.

Mission :

  • Define action plan by identifying areas for improvement
  • Prioritization of defined actions and associated risks
  • Support for transformation: Organization and target interactions, management performance indicators, assistance with implementing actions, training and skills development, etc.

Objectives :

  • Make the assembly process more robust,
  • Automate tasks that can be automated,
